Activities

The events and networking initiatives of the research group cover a wide variety of activities: 

• Regular meetings serve an informal exchange of members on current research projects as well as the further development of the focus on visual studies in terms of content and institutional setting

• Workshops and conferences are organised, focusing on specific topics in order to discuss disciplinary approaches to fields of visual studies and to open up possibilities for inter- or transdisciplinary co-operations

• Visiting professors at departments of the Social Sciences are invited to present and discuss their research interest in the context of events organised by the research group

• International cooperation and networks are made available to members for research purposes of the group.
